Military Funeral

Yesterday I had the unfortunate privilege of shooting the homecoming for Army specialist
Maj. Alan Rogers who died in Iraq last month from injuries received by a roadside bomb.

I have shot a few of these and they are never easy. I tried to avoid the typical casket photos so these are the two I came up with and they were published in the newspaper today.

God bless Alan Rogers and all others who are risking their lives so people like me can enjoy what they love.

That top frame rocks dude. Can't beat the good ole' red, white and blue in a photo. Glad they gave that one the size it deserves.

PS Gabe and I are getting pretty serious, would you want to shoot our wedding?
